Request Templates

Saved loadouts that survive the war reset. Define what "a frontline garrison kit" or "an armour support pack" means once, and drop it into a request in two clicks — this war and every war after.

What problem it solves

Every regiment converges on a handful of standard loadouts: what a Tier-3 bunker needs for 48 hours, what an armour push needs, what a fresh midline depot should hold before an operation.

That knowledge normally lives in one officer's memory or in a Discord message from three wars ago. Every time someone new posts a request they either guess, or they interrupt the officer to ask, or they copy an old request and forget the item that was added last patch.

Templates make it institutional knowledge instead of tribal knowledge.

What a template is

A named, described list of item quantities:

Templates list

Template Purpose
Frontline Garrison Kit Standard 48 h garrison load for a Tier‑2/3 bunker on the Marban line
Armour Support Pack Tank crew loadout — heavy ammo, AT and a light vehicle escort
Bmat & Msupp Top-Up Standing resupply for a midline depot: build materials and maintenance

The description field is doing real work here. Frontline Garrison Kit alone doesn't tell a new member when to use it; "standard 48 h load for a Tier-2/3 bunker" does.

Editing a template

Edit template

The editor is the full item grid, organised by the game's own categories — Small Arms, Heavy Arms, Heavy Ammo, Utility, Medical, Supplies, Uniforms, Crated Vehicles, Crated Structures. Set a quantity, leave the rest at zero.

Templates are regiment-wide, created and edited by Officers and above, and immediately available to everyone who can post a request.

Using a template

In any request form, Prefill from template loads the whole loadout:

Prefill from template

Prefill is a starting point, not a lock — you can adjust quantities afterwards for the specific situation. The template gives you the shape of a correct request so nothing gets forgotten, and the edit gives you the size for tonight.

Templates across wars

This is the part that matters over time.

Stockpiles, requests, hubs and timers are all scoped to the current war and reset when a new war starts — they have to, because the map changes completely. Templates don't. They belong to the regiment.

So the loadout your logi officers refined over three wars of trial and error is still there on day one of the next war, when nobody has time to think and everybody is trying to stand up a supply chain from nothing.

Faction awareness

Templates record the faction they were created under. If a regiment changes faction (see Sharing, Coalitions & Factions), templates full of Warden weapons are hidden rather than deleted — they come back if you switch back, instead of cluttering a Colonial regiment's list with items it cannot build.

Where templates connect

  • Logistics Planner — a template-prefilled request feeds straight into transport / craft / refine / MPF task generation.
  • Bunker Supply — the garrison loadout a bunker is measured against follows the same item-list model.
  • Operations — pair a template with an Operation-type request and a Begins at time to have a push fully provisioned before it kicks off.
