Getting Started¶
From "someone sent me a link" to doing real logistics work in about ten minutes. This page covers getting in, what your first permission level means, and the four things worth doing in your first session.
If you want to know what Foxlogi is before signing in, read the Project Overview first — it explains the three-tier supply chain the rest of the guide assumes.
Getting access¶
- Go to https://foxlogi.com/
- Click Login and authorise the Discord application when Discord asks
- You're in
There is no Foxlogi password. Authentication is Discord OAuth end to end, and your regiment membership follows from your Discord identity — see Settings.
Your first level is None¶
A brand-new login lands at permission level None (999): authenticated, but not yet approved into a regiment. This is the normal onboarding state, not an error. You will see very little until an officer promotes you.
Two things can move you off it:
- An officer changes your level on the Regiment → Members page.
- Your regiment has Discord role mapping configured, in which case your level is set automatically from the highest-priority Discord role you hold, every time you log in.
The eight levels and what each unlocks are in Regiment Management. Most members sit at Member (500), which is enough for everything in the next section.
Your first hour¶
Four things, in order. Each one is a complete, useful contribution on its own.
1. Take a stockpile passcode¶
Open a depot on the map, pick a stockpile tab, and press Copy passcode.
This does more than copy six digits — it registers you as someone who holds that pile's code, which is what lets you refresh its despawn timer later. See Stockpiles → Passcode management.
2. Paste what's in it¶
Open the stockpile in game, copy it, and press Ctrl+V anywhere in the location panel. Foxlogi parses the export and updates the pile.
Every number the planner produces comes from stock data somebody kept current. This is the least glamorous and most valuable thing you can do. See Getting contents in.
3. Run a bunker supply run¶
Click a bunker on the map and press Supply Ammunition. Pick your cargo size; Foxlogi tells you exactly which crates to take and which depot — including public piles you don't need a code for — to take them from, then walks you through pickup and delivery.
This is deliberately the first thing a new member can do without permissions, codes, or any knowledge of the supply chain. See Bunker Supply.
4. Claim a task on the Logistics board¶
The Logistics page lists everything the regiment currently needs doing — transport, crafting, refining, MPF orders — as claimable tasks. Pick one, press Begin this task, and the app walks the steps. Claiming means nobody else duplicates your work. See Logistics Planner.
